The Planet-Friendly Type

Wednesday’s Tip:

Choose Century Gothic as your standard font, especially for printing long documents. It uses less ink than any other font – even Ecofont!

Printer ink cartridges are not biodegradable, and although they can be recycled, millions end up as litter or in landfills each year. The chemicals found in printer ink are toxic and can leach into our groundwater, polluting important sources of drinking water and harming our oceans.

By using a font that requires less ink, you can reduce your consumption of ink cartridges. It will save you money and help the planet!

Remember to recycle your empty ink cartridges – you can take them to your nearest office supply store, and sometimes earn refunds or discounts for recycling.
