It’s Earth Day, so get outside and appreciate what this fabulous planet we all share has to offer! Celebrate in your own way – go for a stroll, run on the beach, lay in the grass, linger to smell the flowers, or spend a little extra time enjoying how blue the sky is.
Take a deep breath of fresh air and remind yourself how lucky you are to live on a planet so full of life, and how important it is to keep it beautiful and clean for future generations.
Use this Earth Day to rejuvenate your love of our natural surroundings, because as Senegalese conservationist Baba Dioum once famously said, “We will conserve only what we love.”
Don’t spend today obsessing about recycling – spend it appreciating the many awesome things about our planet… like the color of the deep ocean, the flavors of fresh herbs and spices, or the adorable awkwardness of a newborn giraffe.
Make a mental commitment to do little things for the planet all year long. Your great grandchildren will be thankful and the Earth will be a more pleasant place for all creatures.
