The Red Knit Cap Lives On….

At the Blue Ocean Film Festival in Monterey.  Participants are wearing these red caps as a tribute to one of our legendary ocean conservation icons, Jacques Cousteau.  It is heart-warming to look at the sea of red knit hats, worn by delegates, many of whom had their first introduction to the ocean through that pioneer.

Tonight, we were treated to great little film, Willem and the Whales, check it out on on utube.  It would be nice if we listened to the wisdom of kids more often.

The Blue Ocean Film Festival is an important event for marine conservation, and Sanibel Sea School is proud to be part of this event.  Check it out.
